We are a two-man team trying to make video games that offer a narrative-driven experience. We are also interested in stylized, minimalist game art.
Our first project is 10,000 Dragons: The Oathbreaker Saga, originally an action RPG inspired by Legend of Zelda and Diablo, is currently undergoing a facelift. To see the original demo, go here:
The development was really slow, in part because the hi res graphics took a long time to create – we both have families and jobs, and we work on games in our spare time. So we decided to rework the game in low-res as a pixel art platformer. Not only does this art style let us tackle an interesting challenge – translating the art style of the game into low res pixel art – but it also just feels right as a platformer. There is something way more ninja-style about jumping around from platform to platform than just running in cardinal directions.
Our second game, Tower of Non, is... well, another top-down Zelda clone RPG. But this one is much more suited to that style. Check it out here:
(And it would really help us out if you would rate the game on Kongregate.)
If you have any questions or thoughts for us, feel free to comment on our game page. But keep in mind that we are a small operation working on games in our spare time; if we don't respond right away, or if development is slow, please be patient with us.
